Privacy of Information
The Algonquin Theatre Box Office ("we" or "ATBO") presents this privacy policy to demonstrate our commitment to protecting your personal information and informing you about how we use it. This privacy policy only applies to transactions made, and data gathered, on the algonquintheatre.ca website (the "Site"), and to transactions made, and data gathered, by the box office.

This privacy policy does not apply to any other web site or offline point of contact between ATBO and patrons. Please review this privacy policy from time to time as we may update it. Each time you visit the Site or provide us with information, by doing so you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy at that time.

We may also use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests and if you choose, to save other personal and financial information so you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the Site. If you wish to disable these cookies, the "help" portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how. However, if you set your browser to disable cookies, you may not be able to access certain areas on the Site.

How We Use Personal Information
We use your personal information to help us perform transactions on the Site and through our telephone ordering system, to deliver the services you have requested, to contact you when necessary in connection with events for which you purchased tickets on the Site or through our telephone ordering system (including event confirmations, changes and cancellations), and to send you information and promotional materials from ATBO and selected third parties. We strive to send you offers that are of value to you, such as discounts, exclusive offers or special event information.
To process transactions on the Site or via our telephone ordering system, we may share your personal information with our agents, representatives, contractors and service providers so they can provide us with support services such as authorization of credit card transactions and order fulfillment. We require these entities not to use your information for any other purpose.
By purchasing tickets on the Site or by phone, you consent to us sharing your personal information with the venues associated with the plays and events for which you purchase tickets ("Event Partners"). Due to our contractual obligations with Event Partners, we are required to provide this information to deliver the services you have requested and we cannot offer you the opportunity to opt-out of our sharing of your personal information with them. Event Partners may use your personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies. You will need to contact those Event Partners who contact you to instruct them directly regarding your preferences for the use of your personal information by them.
Except as may otherwise be described in this policy, we have no control over the personal information practices of Event Partners and other third parties. As described above, by purchasing tickets on the Site or by phone, you authorize us to share your personal information with Event Partners, and you agree that we are not responsible or liable for any of their actions or omissions. These Event Partners may use your personal information in accordance with our contractual arrangements with them and in accordance with their own privacy policies, over which we have no control. You will need to contact them directly in order to instruct them regarding your preferences for how they use your personal information.

These third parties may include the credit card companies and banking institutions used to process the transaction. Also, depending on the circumstances of our arrangements, we may share your financial information with applicable Event Partners, primarily for facilitating "will call" ticket pick up and dispute resolution and customer service at the event venue on the date of the event.

How We Use Demographic Information
We use demographic information to tailor the Site and communications to the interests of our users. We may share your personal and demographic information with our Event Partners. Web Sales
Algonquin Theatre Box Office ("ATBO") supplies tickets via our box office, centrally located at 37 Main Street East, Huntsville, Ontario. ATBO also brings tickets into your home by telephone and Internet.
Open six days a week, ATBO allows patrons of the arts to buy tickets in the fashion that is most convenient to them.
The Web Surcharge pays for this distribution network, the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, telephone lines, labour and all other costs associated with the ticket transaction.
The Internet service involves additional processing costs and carries a higher fee, but the choice among the services is yours. All ticketing inventory resides on a common database so that all points of sale have equal access to seating availability, including Box Offices, Telephone sales and Internet.

Payment Methods
Algonquin Theatre’s online box office accepts VISA and MasterCard as methods of payment.

Pricing and Availability
Algonquin Theatre (both at the box office and by phone and on the website) sells tickets on behalf of its clients. This means that ATBO does not set the ticket prices for particular seating locations. Tickets are generally sold through several distribution points, including online, over the phone and through the box office. All distribution points access the same ticketing system and inventory, therefore, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be made available prior to the event; however algonquintheatre.ca does not control this inventory or its availability.

Processing Fees
Tickets purchased on algonquintheatre.ca are subject to a per ticket Web Surcharge. There is no charge for orders done in person or over the phone. There is a $1.00 charge for online purchases and $2.50 charge to mail tickets.

Canceled Events
Occasionally, events are canceled or postponed due to weather conditions or situations affecting the staff or audience. When this occurs, Algonquin Theatre makes every effort to ensure you receive a prompt refund of the ticket price and associated service and Convenience Charges. If an event is canceled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. Contact us for exact instructions.
Please make sure to include/provide your algonquintheatre.ca account (confirmation) number so we can expedite your refund if applicable. If you purchased the ticket(s) at a ticket centre, you will need to return the tickets directly to the ticket centre where you purchased the tickets.

Refunds and Exchanges
Ticket exchanges will be dealt with on a limited basis and an exchange fee may apply.

Lost or Stolen Tickets
Please notify the Algonquin Theatre box office immediately at 705-789-4975 and we can confirm your purchase. The box office also has a record of your purchase and whether anyone has attempted to use them.

Delivery of Tickets - Will Call and Ticket Centre Pickup
If you have selected delivery through the mail (tickets for events within 14 days of purchase will not be mailed), please allow at least 5-7 business days after your order is made to receive your tickets. If you have not received your tickets within three business days of the event, please contact us.
Tickets delivered through Will Call are typically available one hour prior to the event start time. You will need to present your algonquintheatre.ca confirmation number, the credit card used to purchase tickets and picture identification.

Amount of Tickets Per Customer
When purchasing tickets on algonquintheatre.ca, you are limited to a specified number of tickets for each event. This amount is included on the unique event page and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices.

Multiple Browser Windows
When ordering tickets online with Algonquin Theatre, please ensure you are looking for tickets and placing an order using only one browser window. Looking up tickets using multiple browser windows could result in losing your tickets or timer expiry. This does not apply to having seating chart or other informational windows open while placing an order.
